Halleluia !

Our friend Rick , who does timberframing ( And stars in Gus Van Zant movies) , showed up and we got three of the bents up.
The first was a liitle scary but after that they're goin great.
We'll have all 12 up by Sun afternoon.


I cant believe that afer all these years of talking about it we finally have one of those things in the air.

The Bo- Wrench is a great tool for getting the decking tight

Well the decking is finally going down.it looks great.
We had a few minor setbacks yesterday but adjusted fairly quickly.

This is a shot of one of the beams. They're two 2 x 12 's with a 2 x 4 in between.
12 of them are the floor joists and another 12 are also the horizontals for the goalposts.

We spent the week making these and also pre -assembling the floor
decking .
Its Sunday and hopefully ill have the deck laid by tommorrow night
