Meanwhile things are shaping up in the basement
Waterline and pump are installed
Rough plumbing and Electric panel

We now have electric on all three floors

Dick dug the trench to bring the electric to the house

Downstairs powder room framed out

i put down some thin set to house the tub nice and tight

Our Plumber John Parker is on the scene

and has started the rough plumb up in the bathroom
John's a eal cool guy and a musician

He's toured with Bob Mould and Son Volt

Here the cement board is down and those three pieces on the floor
are the slate tiles were using

and now the tubing

We laid the floor like the first floor
A series of 2 x 6's with a 3/4" spacer every other . than i routed ot the returns.

I routed a 1/4" notch in the joist for the tube

We installed the recessed floor for the upstairs master bath

We dropped it down 7/8" so after we instal the radiant, cement board, and tile it will be flush with the other floor
