We saw a few ants on the pile so John at First Day Cottage (FDC) recommended we use Diatomaceous_earth
Its pretty interesting stuff
Its a pool cleaner
Its a main ingredient in dynamite
Its used in cat litter
Its a material that used in the beer brewing process
and it dries out the ants exoskeleton
